The lowest gear ratio ever. The highest gear ratio ever. With finely distributed gears in between, the ride feels more comfortable and flexible for travel, exploration, commuting, and more.
The 12-speed gearing system lets you ride further, take on steeper climbs with ease, and enjoy a more comfortable riding experience.
The 12-speed gearing system is carefully engineered to fit neatly into the folding frame, with the complete bike starting from just 17.64 lb, or approximately 8 kg.
The T Line 12 Speed weighs just 17.64 lb, or approximately 8 kg, delivering outstanding performance and practicality. Tuned for city riding, it comes equipped with mudguards and a luggage system.
The new Ceratech Black finish offers a durable ceramic surface treatment, while the raw Blasted Titanium finish highlights the strength and reliability of the titanium frame.
The suspension fork, handlebar, and crankset are all designed with carbon fibre, delivering an exceptionally smooth riding experience.
Faster to fold and easier to carry. Every interaction with the folding bike has been carefully studied and refined. This Brompton is truly unique, even among other Brompton bikes.
Just like our bikes, Brompton’s 12-speed gearing system is unique. We carefully developed a solution that gives you more gear choices and a wider gear range while preserving the compact folded design, bringing more freedom to life on two wheels.
The 12-speed gearing system provides a gear range equal to, or even greater than, many road bikes, hybrid bikes, commuter bikes, and city bikes, while keeping the convenience of a Brompton folding bike: lightweight, portable, and foldable.
At Brompton, we believe that more does not always mean better. That is why we offer different gearing options. For flat cities, short rides, or occasional use, fewer and simpler gears are often the best choice. But sometimes, you may want or need more. That is where our new 12-speed gearing system comes in.
Just like our bikes, Brompton’s 12-speed gearing system is unique. We carefully created a solution that gives you more gears and a wider gear range while still preserving Brompton’s iconic compact folding convenience, making life on two wheels more flexible and free.
A new ultralight titanium frame, paired with more than 150 components developed specifically to reduce weight. Three years of repeated material selection and demanding testing led to this breakthrough. Everything is new, except the fold.
Brompton founder Andrew Ritchie was obsessed with this folding design more than 40 years ago. It has never been surpassed, only continuously refined. It is the original, and still the best.
An unprecedented riding experience comes from this new drivetrain. Designed from the ground up for folding and compact storage, it balances ultralight performance with optimized city riding capability.
The carbon fibre crankset delivers more efficient power transfer; the 60 g derailleur enables smooth shifting in a compact form; and the new gear ratios were rigorously tested from Amsterdam to San Francisco before being perfectly tuned for city roads.
