The Cytal Carbon is the result of the constant search for new ways to maximise performance and safety. The road cycling helmet introduces new methods and technologies to deliver speed and safety. The Cytal Lite is for when grams count and heat management is a must. Weighing less than 200g (CE standard, size medium), the Cytal Lite has been developed to deliver the lowest weight possible while ensuring optimised protection and incredible heat management.
Taking inspiration from the Cytal and Cytal Carbon, we updated and enhanced the structure of the helmet shell to save weight on the EPS liner and enhance airflow, which is perfectly tuned to the needs of climbers and col hunters, or riders who often ride in a hot climate.
Recommended head circumference:

The shell and liner combine to provide enhanced structural integrity for ultimate lightweight crash protection.
Large airflow channels throughout the helmet and an optimised shell structure enhance airflow.
The outer PC shell is scaled back wherever possible, covering the liner only where absolutely necessary so that as many grams as possible can be saved.
The comfort padding at the front of the helmet features only vertical padding, allowing more air flow across the forehead and keeping weight low.
Originating from Sweden, POC regards safety protection as its sole mission, striving to safeguard the lives
of all outdoor sports enthusiasts.
Since its founding in 2005, POC has focused on the research and design of ski equipment, dedicated to
reducing injuries caused by accidents. This innovative approach not only received widespread recognition in
the market but also earned unanimous praise at the ISPO exhibition in the same year.
At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, POC-sponsored athlete Julia Mancuso delivered an outstanding
performance, defeating numerous competitors to win the gold medal in the Giant Slalom. This was not only a
moment worth celebrating, but also marked POC’s entry onto the global stage.
During the 2013 Tour de France, Ryder Hesjedal, the previous year’s Giro d’Italia champion, wore POC
sunglasses for the first time on the racecourse. These not only perfectly combined style and safety, but
also paved the way for the 2014 collaboration with the Garmin-Sharp professional team.
To this day, the POC team remains unwavering in its commitment and dedication to product innovation and
technological development. All of these efforts are driven by a single mission: “Safety.”
